Thursday Thoughts: In The Workplace

This post is meant to inspire you all to work harder. If you want to accomplish something…anything… most times, you have to actually work to attain those goals. If you don’t like your job, change it. Life is too short to waste it working somewhere we hate in order to just make money or make time fly by. Get up and CHANGE something about yourself if you want to be happier πŸ™‚ It can be daunting and scary, yes, but you will forever be grateful you took that leap of faith. πŸ™‚

Stay in control of yourself and keep working hard. Don’t let people cut you down on the way to accomplishing your dreams – let their negativity only push you to work harder!

Don’t expect a gold star or a pat on the back after every small task you accomplish; if you feel you did a great job, let that beacon of light shine from within and tell yourself how great you did. Others may try to steal that light from you, but hold it with full confidence!

As Albert Einstein famously said, “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”
WORK for your dreams.

Eleanor Roosevelt never ceases to impress me with her words of wisdom. Rise above the bad-talkers, smooth-talkers, and mouth-breathers. Stay positive and do not give in to childish banter and immature judgments.

This last one is one of my favorites. I do not advocate for comparing ourselves to other people, but sometimes it really works as a great motivator.
