Goooood morning! Its Monday again! And this past weekend, albeit very relaxing and full of great sleep and food, went by WAY too fast. Always does. Ohh summertime. Pictures galore for my Bastille Days weekend and lots of time spent with family! Ready for #MIMM? 🙂
First of all, I’m obsessed with Kombucha. #everydaypeople
Usually, Patrick and I are SWAMPED every weekend. Last Friday? We had NO PLANS. Staying in was seriously the best choice we made all weekend, I swear. We cooked pesto pasta for dinner, made salads, and watched movies all night.
I barely touched my phone, so I didn’t capture any pictures, but you could say I’m a huge fan of the movie selection 😉
Saturday morning, I had 9 miles to run for marathon training. I got up early, ran 6 on my own, then finished with a 5K with the family 🙂 PERFECT weather and I feel pretty good about my time/pace!
My youngest sister helped me with my #yogachallenge pose for the day too 🙂 Lookin good, lookin good…
It was also my PUPPY’S BIRTHDAY on Friday!! He’s so wonderful. He’s now 3, and he likes treats and really any food, and even things that aren’t edible. Sooo he’s easy to shop for 😉
Saturday afternoon was SLAMMED with…relaxing 🙂 More of it! Muh man made me an amaaazing lunch after my 9 miler and you BET I devoured all of it!
Patrick and I got our bikes tuned up and then met my family at Bastille Days again for our last night there. The music was… not what we expected that night, but we enjoyed some nosh and each other’s company and had another early night (which was LOVELY).
So glad Manda was able to come visit from Chicago for the night! 😀
❤ ❤ ❤
Sunday we visited my mom, did some errands, and I completed the night with some yoga in the park, more Harry Potter, and studying for my Personal Training exam!
This weekend was the PERFECT amount of marvelous! So relaxing, I got to see all my family throughout the weekend, and Patrick and I got a substantial amount of Harry Potter into my days 🙂 This girl is super happy, and I really feel rejuvenated!
This morning, I wasn’t entirely sure what I wanted to do for my workout, so I focused on shoulders after I did 3 miles of really intense sprints. I wish I could’ve taken a picture to show you the amount of SWEAT pouring off me. Yeah…
Quick recap of my workout:
3 sets of shoulder press with 20, 22.5, 25 lb weights per hand, 8 each side
Front raise with 45 lb plate, 3 sets of 8
Rotater cuff raises with 20 lbs, 3 sets of 8 together
Side raise with 17.5 weights per hand, 3 sets of 8 each side
And LASTLY, on this Maaahhhhvelous Monday, I finished with a few flows through Sun Salutation A. Downward dog pose for my #yogachallenge today.
Thanks for reading you guyzzzzz 🙂 I hope you all have a fantastic start to your weeks! Monday is the opportunity for a fresh start ❤
