Yes this felt necessary to post on IG at 5:15 this morning, so I did. Because this is how I want to approach every weekend! It’s a way to restart, relax, and refuel for the coming week. 🙂 Even though lately…life is flying just oh way too fast. Anyone with me there?
This morning I woke up before my alarm (which I do often), and took my time getting ready, made coffee, packed up, and took a leisurely walk to the gym. I had no plans, no real intentions for my workout, and just wanted to enjoy the quiet and relaxing sounds of pre-dawn, before anyone is really up or moving about.
Highlight of the morning – my inversions. I simply adore them and I feel more and more confident every time I get into one of these poses. My inversions literally “hang up” any of my worries, doubts, concerns or potential fears for the day. All I can do is focus on holding steady, keeping my back and neck and arms strong, and breeeeeeeathing.
I enjoy my simple mornings at the gym. Before my brain registers what I’m doing and before I even say any words for the day. I love them, and I hope everyone can find a simplistic time for themselves during the day. Relax, recover, reflect, and re-dream all your fabulous dreams about life you have.
And then…go GET them 🙂
