Happy Thursday! And Day 4 of my new job. You guys, I am THRILLED to get up at the butt-crack of dawn, get my workout and breakfast in before 8am, and get rolling with my new team at my new work-home. It gives me a purpose, gives me a confidence boost, and makes me feel SO HAPPY to help my team and give them someone to mentor and train to be a solid part of our team!
I have plenty of new thoughts rolling through this head since I started this week… so let’s link with Amanda!
This is a new yoga pose that I tried the other day. Surprisingly, once my chin laid gently on the floor, my legs sprung right up! It’s a variation of peacock pose and I am so excited to play around with it more!
I absolutely love this quote. I completely live by the mentality and process of not allowing myself to be angry. Anger is a waste of time, and COMPLETELY poisons your system. I am a lover, and I know that everyone can get along; if we let go of anger and feel more calm and happiness, it will happen SO easily.
Read this article about using olive oil instead of butter. AND I LOVE IT. I would go as far to say I would use coconut oil over anything too. It’s a GODSEND! Try it, you won’t regret it!
Oh, and here’s an AWESOME list of date ideas to go on with your S.O. I am happy and proud to say Patrick and I have done almost all of these 🙂 ❤
Here’s a couple more poses for challenges I’m partaking in this month. Boat pose has always been challenging for me, since either my legs OR my arms lift higher. Getting them both to cooperate is not the easiest, but I’m working on it! And anyyyyy variation of child’s pose makes my runner’s legs SO HAPPY. 🙂
I made this for dinner last night and have leftovers for lunch today. It is JUST as delicious as it looks. I literally chopped and sauteed every vegetable in my fridge together and drizzled soy sauce on top. PERFECTION. And definitely something I can make in bulk for future dinners/lunches.
And just in time for St. Patrick’s Day, here’s an (as always) perfect and exceptional recipe for Double Chocolate Irish Tea Infused Oat Muffins. I would LOVE to make these for my new partners at work! 🙂
And here’s my last thought for this week. Because my new work partners are ALL about lunch. And snacks. And coffee. And it’s AWESOME.
What’s something exciting you’ve been experiencing lately? Any awesome foods, yoga poses, articles you’ve found?
