This weekend absolutely flew by. I wish I had about 15 more hours of Sunday. To relax. Rest. Recoup. And regenerate my energy for the week to come. That being said, we had a wonderful weekend, it was packed with fun, friends, and running of course. 🙂 So much to celebrate!
After spending Friday night in Chicago celebrating my sister’s birthday, we ran Saturday morning up and down Lakeshore Drive, enjoying the gorgeous view, lots of people watching, and the sunshine that peeked through the clouds. It was a perfect route! After the 15 miles were done, we were pretty exhausted, but after food and a nap, we were READY for a fun night for our friend’s going away party. And today, recovery 🙂
I did a few new yoga poses, and I’m really working on my forearm headstand; getting into it is the toughest, and requires SO MUCH core strength, which I’m finding is much more difficult than I expected. But, #goals right? 🙂
I have an assortment of awesome links for this week too! Lots for food, as always, and some great exercise, medicinal, and otherwise informational reading too! Lemme know what you think!
